HTC and Scanmaskin Grinder Adapters: Three Tool Conversions Shown Before Shipping

Compare three adapter directions using real product photos and connection demonstrations before choosing tooling for your floor grinder.

· Machine-Specific Tooling

Choosing a floor grinder adapter starts with a direction: which machine will receive it, and which diamond-tool connection must it accept? This order brought together three different conversions—HTC to trapezoid metal-bond tools, Scanmaskin to Husqvarna Redi Lock tooling, and Scanmaskin to Lavina/EDCO-style shoes.

The pre-shipment photographs and hand-held connection demonstrations show the supplied adapter structures. They give buyers a useful reference for comparing interfaces before ordering. Final fitment still requires the grinder model, existing plate and intended tool connection to be confirmed.

Three Conversions in One Order

These adapters address separate mounting requirements. They are not three stages in a grinding sequence.

The first connects a compatible HTC setup with trapezoid metal-bond tooling. The second connects a compatible Scanmaskin setup with Husqvarna Redi Lock-style tooling. The third is intended for selected Scanmaskin systems using compatible Lavina/EDCO-style shoes.

Keep those directions written into the quotation and packing record. A request containing only two brand names leaves the machine side and tool side unclear.

For other conversion formats, review the available floor grinder adapters and plates.

HTC Grinder to Trapezoid Metal-Bond Tools

The HTC-to-trapezoid magnetic adapter is designed for compatible HTC grinder setups that need to use matching trapezoid metal-bond tools.

The photograph shows the adapter pieces from different sides. The accompanying demonstration shows the tool and adapter together, making the connection easier to inspect than a photograph of the diamond segments alone.

Before repeating this setup, confirm the HTC model, current holder, trapezoid mounting pattern, hole spacing and tool thickness. Record the adapter separately from the grinding shoe so the order clearly identifies what is included.

Scanmaskin Grinder to Husqvarna Redi Lock Tools

For this order, the selected direction was Scanmaskin machine to Husqvarna Redi Lock tooling. The Scanmaskin-to-Husqvarna Redi Lock adapter plate should therefore be identified using that complete direction.

A reverse conversion requires its own selection. “Husqvarna to Scanmaskin” must not be substituted for this order simply because the same brands appear in the name.

Compare the machine plate, mounting layout and tool-side locking interface before purchasing. The pre-shipment display documents the supplied pieces and packaging; it does not establish compatibility with every Scanmaskin grinder.

Scanmaskin Grinder to Lavina/EDCO-Style Shoes

Its connection must be matched to the actual shoe being used. A trapezoid outline alone does not establish the locking area, thickness or mounting interface.

The photograph provides a reference for both faces of the adapter and the protected pieces prepared for packing. When requesting this conversion, identify the Scanmaskin model, current holder and exact Lavina/EDCO-style shoe rather than asking for a generic trapezoid adapter.

What the Connection Videos Help You Check

A hand-held demonstration can show the back of the tool, the receiving adapter face, the seating movement and the assembled connection from another angle.

For a purchasing review, use those views to compare the proposed assembly with your current tooling. Ask for a clearer view or measurements when an important interface is hidden.

Machine installation remains a separate check. A hand-held connection demonstration does not establish running clearance, retention under load or compatibility with a different machine plate.

The most useful comparison includes the existing grinder holder, the back of the current shoe and the proposed adapter. Keep those references together so the supplier can review both sides of the connection.

Keep the Adapter and Grinding Specification Separate

An adapter changes the available mounting connection. The installed diamond tool still needs the correct grit, bond and application for the floor.

Confirm the connection first, then specify the grinding shoe required for the job. A demonstrated tool should not be assumed to be included in an adapter-only order.

This distinction also helps with replenishment. Record which adapter was supplied and which diamond shoe was used with it, so a later replacement request can identify the correct component.

Make the Next Inquiry Specific

For an adapter recommendation, contact Monkey King Diamond Tools with one clear sentence describing the conversion: “I have this grinder and want to use this tool.”

Include the complete machine model, a photograph of the current plate and front-and-back views of the intended shoe. With both interfaces visible, the discussion can focus on the correct adapter direction and the measurements needed before ordering.
