If metal grinding scratches are still visible, moving straight to a finer resin pad can make the floor shinier without removing the marks. And if you’re switching between HTC and Scanmaskin tooling, the two brand names alone don’t tell you which adapter to buy. Check the scratch pattern and the mounting connection separately.
What the Netherlands Customer Ordered
A Monkey King Diamond Tools customer in the Netherlands ordered nine 50 mm ceramic pads in 60 grit, nine in 120 grit, and nine HTC-to-Scanmaskin adapters. The photos show the actual order items. The quantities reflect this order, not a recommended tool count for every grinder.

Within this ceramic pad series, 60 grit is the coarser option. Test it when the metal scratch pattern is even but still too coarse for resin. If the surface is already fine enough for 120 grit to remove the previous pattern evenly, you may not need to start at 60. Let the test patch decide.
Clean the patch and look at it under low-angle light before moving to the next grit. If deep, isolated scratches remain, correct those marks at the appropriate metal bond grinding step instead of trying to polish over them. Browse ceramic and hybrid transition pads by size and attachment. Move to resin polishing pads once the scratch pattern is fine and even enough for the next step.
What to Check on an HTC-to-Scanmaskin Adapter
Write the conversion as two separate entries: the grinder and holder you have, and the tooling connection you want to run. Don’t assume the reverse conversion will fit. Compare the existing holder and the back of the intended tool with the floor grinder adapter and plate options.

If you’re unsure which connection to order, contact Monkey King Diamond Tools with your grinder model, a photo of the installed holder, and a photo of the back of the tool you want to run.
