Overview

This 16” (400mm) wet/dry resin diamond polishing pad disc is designed for concrete and terrazzo floor polishing, scratch refinement, and finish improvement. The 14mm thick resin body supports longer usable life than thinner polishing pads and is suitable for large-format floor polishing workflows.

Use this pad after the floor has already passed the coating removal, grinding, or hybrid refinement stage. Choose the grit according to the previous tool step, visible scratch pattern, floor material, and target finish.

For more finish-stage polishing options, browse resin polishing pads.

Fitment Note

Before ordering, confirm your machine type, pad diameter, drive system, attachment method, required grit sequence, and required quantity.

Do not order by machine brand name alone. Confirm that your machine or plate system accepts 16” / 400mm polishing discs.

If fitment is unclear, check Shop by Machine, review adapters and plates, or send your machine brand, model, and pad holder photo through Contact Us.

Polishing Workflow

If the floor still has epoxy, glue, paint, mastic, or coating residue, start with PCD coating removal tools before polishing.

For exposed concrete that still needs slab opening, leveling, or scratch control, use metal bond grinding tools before moving into polishing pads.

If visible metal scratches remain before final polishing, use hybrid pads to refine the scratch pattern.

After the scratch pattern is controlled, continue through the resin grit sequence until the required clarity and finish are achieved.

Shipping

Order processing and delivery time depend on stock status, order quantity, destination country, and shipping method. If you have a project deadline, send your required delivery date before ordering.

FAQ

Q1: What is this 16” / 400mm resin polishing pad mainly used for?
It is mainly used for concrete and terrazzo floor polishing, scratch refinement, and finish improvement after earlier preparation steps.

Q2: Which grit should I choose?
Choose the grit according to the previous grinding or polishing step. Lower grits are used for stronger refinement, while higher grits are used for finish improvement.

Q3: Can this pad be used wet or dry?
Yes. This product is positioned for wet/dry polishing use. Choose the method according to your jobsite dust-control setup, floor condition, and polishing process.

Q4: Is this pad for coating removal?
No. This is a resin polishing pad. If the floor still has epoxy, glue, paint, mastic, or coating residue, use PCD coating removal tools first.

Q5: What should come before this pad?
For heavy floor preparation, use metal bond grinding tools. If visible scratches remain before polishing, use hybrid pads.

Q6: Does it fit every floor machine?
No. Fitment depends on machine type, pad diameter, drive system, attachment method, and required pad quantity. Confirm these details before ordering.

Q7: What should I send before ordering?
Send your machine brand and model, pad diameter, holder or plate photo, current floor condition, previous grit step, target finish, and required quantity.
