Overview

The MONKEY KING 4 inch convex rubber backer pad is designed to hold compatible hook-and-loop diamond polishing pads during curved stone polishing work.

Its bowl-shaped convex profile helps the polishing pad follow sink bowls, inside radiuses, curved edges and concave stone surfaces where a flat backing pad may not maintain even contact.

Choose M14 or 5/8"-11 thread according to your polisher spindle. Each order includes one rubber backer pad only. Diamond polishing pads are not included.

How to Use

1. Disconnect the polisher from its power supply.

2. Confirm that the machine spindle matches the selected M14 or 5/8"-11 thread.

3. Install and tighten the convex rubber backer pad correctly.

4. Attach a compatible 4 inch hook-and-loop diamond polishing pad.

5. Check that the polishing pad is centered and fully attached.

6. Begin at a controlled speed and maintain stable contact with the curved stone surface.

7. Use the polishing-pad sequence required for the material and target finish.

8. Stop immediately if the backer loosens, the pad separates or abnormal vibration occurs.

Do not operate above the verified safe speed of the machine, backer pad or polishing pad. If the backer-pad speed rating cannot be confirmed, do not use it.
