This Redi Lock-style PCD coating removal tool is designed for concrete floor preparation jobs where surface coatings must be removed before grinding.

Use it for epoxy, glue, mastic, paint, sealer buildup, adhesive residue, and other coating removal work on concrete floors. It is intended for the coating removal stage, before switching to metal bond grinding tools for concrete profiling and scratch control.

Fitment Note

Before ordering, confirm the machine and holder setup. This product should not be selected by brand name alone.

Please check:

  • Machine model
  • Holder / plate style
  • Mounting interface
  • Required rotation direction
  • Tool size or holder requirement if applicable
  • Required quantity
  • Job type: epoxy, glue, mastic, paint, sealer, or unknown coating

If you are not sure, compare your setup through Shop by Machine, check whether you need adapters and plates, or send photos through Contact Us before ordering.

For fitment checking, send a clear photo of your grinder plate, the back side of your current tool, and the coating condition on the floor.

How to Use

Use this PCD tool at the coating removal stage.

Start with the PCD scraper when the floor has epoxy, glue, mastic, paint, adhesive residue, or coating buildup. Choose the correct direction before running the tool. Do not use the wrong direction, because direction mismatch can reduce cutting performance and cause uneven wear.

After the coating is removed, switch to metal bond grinding tools to continue concrete grinding, surface profiling, and scratch control.

If the floor will move into polishing, continue with hybrid pads for scratch refinement, then use resin polishing pads for polishing and finish improvement.

For heavier surface texturing or anti-slip preparation, compare with bush hammer tools. If your grinder holder and tool system do not match directly, check adapters and plates.

FAQ

What is this tool mainly used for?

This tool is mainly used for removing epoxy, glue, mastic, paint, sealer buildup, and adhesive residue from concrete floors before grinding.

Is it for coating removal, grinding, or polishing?

It is for coating removal. After coating removal, the usual next step is to use metal bond grinding tools. It is not a resin polishing pad and should not be used as a final polishing tool.

Does it fit every machine?

No. Do not assume it fits every Husqvarna grinder or every Redi Lock-style setup. Confirm the machine model, holder / plate style, mounting interface, and direction before ordering.

What should I send before ordering?

Send your machine model, a photo of the holder plate, a photo of the back side of your current tool, the coating type, the required direction if known, and the quantity needed. If the floor condition is unclear, send a jobsite photo as well.
