More Details

This metal bond grinding tool is made for WerkMaster floor grinders used in concrete floor grinding, surface opening, scratch refinement, and preparation before hybrid or resin polishing steps. It is suitable for contractors who need machine-specific metal bond grinding tools for leveling, removing weak surface paste, opening dense concrete, or preparing a slab after coating removal.

Available grit options include coarse and medium steps such as 6, 16, 30, 60, and 120. Use lower grits for aggressive first cuts or surface correction, and higher grits for scratch refinement before transitional pads. Bond selection matters: use soft bond for hard or dense concrete, medium bond for general concrete, and hard bond for softer concrete where tools may wear too quickly.

This tool is not designed for epoxy or glue stripping. If coating is still present, start with PCD tools first, then switch to metal bond grinding after the coating is removed. For best results, match grit, bond, machine weight, and job goal instead of choosing by price only.

After 60 or 120 grit metal, many contractors continue with hybrid pads or resin polishing pads depending on the target finish. You can also use Shop by Machine if you need compatible tooling for other grinder systems.

Usually hybrid pads or resin pads, depending on the finish target.
