If the floor still has epoxy, glue, mastic, paint, or coating residue, start with PCD coating removal tools. If the coating is removed and the slab needs opening, leveling, or scratch control, move to metal bond grinding tools.
After metal grinding, use hybrid pads to reduce visible scratches before polishing. Use resin polishing pads only after the scratch pattern is controlled.
