Overview

The MONKEY KING 10 inch / 250mm magnetic adapter plate is designed for compatible CUB floor grinders.

It converts the machine-side grinding disc into three quick-change tool positions for matching trapezoid metal-bond grinding shoes and PCD coating-removal tools with a compatible 3×9mm-hole back.

This adapter plate supports two different floor-preparation stages. Install compatible PCD tools for coating removal, then change to suitable metal-bond trapezoid tools for concrete opening, leveling and scratch control.

The plate itself is a machine-to-tool conversion accessory. Grinding and removal performance depends on the selected trapezoid tooling, bond, grit, segment design, floor condition and operating method.

Compatible Tool Types

Use only trapezoid tools whose back connection matches the magnetic holder and locator arrangement.

Compatible configurations can include:

Segment shape does not confirm fitment by itself. The back-hole pattern, hole diameter, locator positions and magnetic seating must also match.

How to Use

1. Disconnect the floor grinder from its power supply.

2. Place the machine in a stable tool-changing position.

3. Remove the existing grinding disc or holder plate.

4. Compare the machine mounting holes with the 250mm adapter plate.

5. Install and tighten the adapter plate using the correct machine-side fasteners.

6. Install three matching trapezoid tools with the same interface and segment height.

7. Confirm that every tool is fully seated against the magnetic holder and locators.

8. Rotate the plate manually to check clearance.

9. Start with a controlled setup and stop immediately if a tool moves, the plate loosens or abnormal vibration occurs.

For epoxy, glue, paint or coating removal, install compatible PCD coating removal tools.

After the coating has been removed, change to suitable metal-bond grinding tools for concrete opening, leveling and scratch control.

Do not use PCD tools as polishing tools. Do not move directly from aggressive coating removal to resin polishing without completing the required grinding and scratch-refinement stages.
