EDCO Tooling Fitment Checks Before Ordering
EDCO tooling should be selected by holder style, working width, coating condition, concrete hardness, starting grit, and job step. Do not choose the tool only by EDCO name or product shape.
If the floor still has epoxy, glue, mastic, paint, or coating residue, start with PCD coating removal tools. For EDCO coating removal jobs, confirm whether the goal is aggressive removal, smoother tracking, or less gouging before ordering.
If the coating is removed and the slab needs opening, leveling, or scratch control, move to metal bond grinding tools. Choose the bond and segment style by concrete hardness, machine weight, and scratch target.
After metal grinding, use hybrid pads to reduce visible scratches before polishing. Use resin polishing pads only after the scratch pattern is controlled.
