The MONKEY KING Horseshoe-Style Resin Polishing Pad is designed for wet floor restoration, scratch refinement and staged polishing on concrete, terrazzo, marble and granite.

The tapered horseshoe-style profile measures 70 mm across the narrower edge and 87 mm across the wider edge. Its hook-and-loop backing allows the pad to attach to a compatible polishing-pad holder or driver plate.

Lower-grit options for earlier resin-refinement stages when the floor has already been flattened and properly prepared.

200 and 400 Grit

Intermediate honing steps for progressively refining the scratch pattern left by the previous stage.

Higher-grit polishing steps for developing surface clarity and the required finish.

Choose the starting grit according to the previous tool step and the deepest remaining scratch. Do not move to a finer grit until the previous scratch pattern has been properly refined.

Recommended Polishing Workflow

If the floor still has unwanted epoxy, glue, mastic, paint or coating residue, remove it with appropriate PCD tools before beginning the grinding and polishing process.

If the exposed concrete still requires opening, leveling or deeper scratch correction, use suitable Metal Bond Grinding Tools.

When metal scratches are still visible before resin polishing, use the appropriate Hybrid Transition Pads to refine the scratch pattern.

Attach matching pads securely to the holder. Use the same grit and thickness across the complete working head.

Complete each polishing stage before changing grit, and thoroughly clean the floor and tools between steps to prevent coarse particles from contaminating the next polishing stage.

This product is intended for wet polishing. Control the water supply throughout the process and gradually reduce excessive water as the surface approaches the final polishing stages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this pad intended for coating removal?

No. It is a resin restoration and polishing tool. Unwanted epoxy, glue, paint, mastic and thick coatings should be removed with the appropriate preparation tools first.

Can it be used immediately after metal grinding?

Only when the metal scratch pattern has been sufficiently refined. If visible metal scratches remain, complete the required hybrid transition stage before resin polishing.

Does it fit every floor grinder?

No universal machine compatibility is claimed. The holder must have a matching hook-and-loop surface and sufficient contact area for this pad.

Can this pad be used dry?

Dry-use performance has not been verified. The current product specification supports wet polishing only.

Can it polish epoxy floors?

Use it only on fully cured epoxy flooring that permits mechanical polishing. Test a small area first and follow the coating manufacturer’s instructions.

How should I select the starting grit?

Select the starting grit according to the floor condition, previous grinding step and remaining scratch depth. Progress through finer grits without skipping scratches that have not been removed.
