Diamatic and Blastrac Tooling Fitment Checks Before Ordering

Diamatic and Blastrac tooling should be selected by grinder model, plate style, holder setup, coating condition, concrete hardness, previous grit, target finish, and job step. Do not choose the tool only by Diamatic or Blastrac name.

If the floor still has epoxy, glue, mastic, paint, or coating residue, start with PCD coating removal tools. For Diamatic or Blastrac coating removal jobs, confirm coating thickness, plate style, and whether the first pass needs aggressive removal or better scratch control.

If the coating is removed and the slab needs opening, leveling, or scratch control, move to metal bond grinding tools. Choose the segment style and bond by concrete hardness, machine weight, and scratch target.

After metal grinding, use hybrid pads to reduce visible scratches before polishing. Use resin polishing pads only after the scratch pattern is controlled.

If the Diamatic or Blastrac plate style, holder setup, pad size, or adapter setup is unclear, check adapters and plates or start from shop by machine.
